History
A Carmi Times article dated December 9, 1965, newspapers.com, recalls that the Epworth L&N Depot was built in 1913 and torn down in 1957. There were three grain elevators and siding tracks for loading melons. Louise Jackson sold tickets and put the mail out for pickup according to her niece, Dee Maurer.
