History

According to the Christian County Historical Society, Campbellsburg was located in Buckhart Township along the former B&O railroad. When the railroad torn down the freight house and moved the depot to Owaneco, Campbellsburg was no more. The historical society eventually acquired, restored, and moved the depot building to 325 Abe's Way, Taylorville, IL 62568.
